Training at the Biotonika school
Biotonika is an author's school of biological regulation of beauty and health in Kyiv. Training is led by cosmetologist Larysa Lonchar, a doctor with higher medical education who specialises in homotoxicology and has more than 20 years of practice in cosmetology. The programmes follow a bioregulatory approach: preference goes to methods that preserve beauty and health by relying on the body's own resources.
For beginners there is the basic and hardware cosmetology course. It starts from zero and needs no medical education: 2 months and 390 hours, 282 of them practice, with study materials provided and every skill worked out in practice. For cosmetologists and doctors there are master classes on specific methods: mesotherapy, chemical peels, plasma therapy, botulinum therapy, preventing complications in contour plasty, physiological treatment of acne and cellulite in integrative medicine. Master classes last from 4 hours to 2 days and take place in Kyiv or on-site in your city, in a group or one-to-one.

Questions and answers
Do you issue a diploma or a certificate?
Yes. The basic and hardware cosmetology course ends with a certificate of the established form and a Serbian state diploma that allows work in the EU; the "Cosmetologist (individual practice)" programme gives a diploma for work in Ukraine and a European state diploma with an apostille. At most master classes participants receive certificates.
Can I study without a medical education?
Yes. The basic and hardware cosmetology course is designed for beginners: it starts from zero and no medical education is required. For medical professionals it is a way to gain a new specialisation.
How long does the training take?
The basic and hardware cosmetology course takes 2 months, 390 hours: 100 hours of theory, 282 hours of practice and an 8-hour exam. Master classes last from 4 hours to 2 days — see the table above for each one.
Where and in what format does the training take place?
In Kyiv; master classes can also come to your city. Training is in a group or one-to-one. In the "Cosmetologist (individual practice)" programme the groups are small, 4–5 people, and distance learning with practice afterwards is possible.
