What «Practical Dermatocosmetology» is

«Practical Dermatocosmetology» is a cycle of three master classes for physician-cosmetologists who work with injectable rejuvenation techniques. One idea unites them: results and safety depend not on a single procedure but on how well the doctor understands anatomy, chooses the right patient and product, and knows what to do when something goes wrong.

Each master class lasts 5 hours and has its own programme, so the topics can be taken separately — depending on which techniques you already use and what you want to strengthen.

The Biotonika school also has a second cycle — «Master Classes in Bioregulatory Cosmetology»: basics of mesotherapy, physiological treatment of acne, chemical peeling, cellulite in integrative medicine and plasmotherapy. And if you are only starting out in the profession, there is the basic and hardware cosmetology course for beginners — training from scratch, with no medical education required.

The three topics of the cycle

Algorithm of an Individual Approach to Comprehensive Facial Rejuvenation. Five stages of prolonging youth — contour plastics, bio-reinforcement, thread lifting, mesotherapy and botulinum toxin. Classification of ageing morphotypes (tired, fine-wrinkle, muscular, deformation), a sectional specimen demonstration, analysis of the five main facial zones, risk zones and fat pads. Prevention of Complications in Contour Plastics. Anatomical risk zones, patient selection algorithms, the initial consultation and correctly drawing up the «Informed Consent», handling objections. Muscle anatomy, innervation and blood supply of the face and neck, criteria for choosing a product, cannula or needle, zones of questionable correction, actions in case of complications — with analysis of real clinical cases.

Botulinum Therapy for «Difficult Faces». Complications of Botulinum Therapy. Physiological and functional asymmetry, myofascial syndrome, the patient's neurological examination, injection options for different anatomy. The most common complications — «Mephistopheles brows», ptosis, an overhanging nasal bridge, the cheek «sail» — and ways to deal with them, an overview of products on the market. Practice on models.

Training format

The master classes take place in Kyiv or on-site in your city. The format is group or one-to-one; distance learning via Skype or Zoom is also possible. Practice on models is included in the master classes on comprehensive rejuvenation and on botulinum therapy; the contour plastics master class is built on theory, anatomy and clinical cases.

Who leads the cycle

All three master classes are led by physician-cosmetologist Larysa Lonchar, director of Biotonika. Higher medical education, specialisation in homotoxicology, in cosmetology since 2000. Her further training includes courses in mesotherapy, botulinum therapy, thread lifting and Radiesse contour plastics — the key techniques the cycle deals with. She is a practising physician-cosmetologist and a certified trainer of SDM Professional.
