Who this master class is for

The «Algorithm of an Individual Approach to Comprehensive Facial Rejuvenation» master class is for physician-cosmetologists who already master injectable techniques and want to combine them into a well-thought-out programme. The key question here is not «which treatment to do» but «where to start with this particular patient and in what order to proceed».

This approach continues the principle the whole Biotonika school is built on: in cosmetology, as in medicine, there are no universal treatments, and each skin type and state of the body gets its own programme. Larysa Lonchar puts it this way: rejuvenate wisely, so that beauty is the result of stronger health.

It is one of the three topics of the «Practical Dermatocosmetology» cycle, together with the master classes on preventing complications in contour plastics and on botulinum therapy for «difficult faces».

Five stages of prolonging youth

The master class is built on 5 stages of prolonging youth: contour plastics, bio-reinforcement, thread lifting, mesotherapy and botulinum toxin. Patient management protocols are analysed on the principles of mesotherapy, botulinum therapy, biorevitalisation, volumisation and thread lifting. The algorithm starts with diagnosis. You will study the classification of the main ageing morphotypes:

• the tired type of ageing;
• the fine-wrinkle type;
• the muscular type;
• the deformation type — couperose and oedematous.

The morphotype determines which techniques, and in what order, are appropriate for the patient.

Programme: anatomy, zones and protocols

Theoretical part:

• ageing morphotypes and analysis of clinical examples;
• demonstration of a sectional specimen and a sectional film;
• patient management protocols;
• analysis of the five main facial zones — temporal, buccal, oral, nasal and frontal;
• risk zones, superficial and deep fat pads.

Anatomy on a sectional specimen and in a sectional film is what gives the doctor an understanding of where exactly the limits of safe work lie in each zone.

The practical part is skills practice on models. The master class lasts 5 hours and takes place in Kyiv or on-site in your city, in a group or one-to-one; distance learning via Skype or Zoom is also available.

What you will learn

After the master class you should have not a set of separate procedures but a sequence of steps for a particular patient:

• determine the morphotype of ageing — tired, fine-wrinkled, muscular or deformational — and build the plan on it;
• choose the order of techniques: what comes first, what waits for the next stage and what this patient does not need at all;
• see the anatomy of five facial zones — temporal, cheek, oral, nasal and frontal — together with the risk zones and fat pads;
• draw up a patient management protocol in which mesotherapy, botulinum therapy, biorevitalisation, volumisation and thread lifting complement rather than compete with each other;
• practise the skills on models.
