The «Prevention of Complications in Contour Plastics» master class is for physician-cosmetologists who work with fillers or are only preparing to introduce contour plastics into their practice. The title says it all: the focus is prevention, and it starts long before the injection — with anatomy, patient selection and consultation. And for cases where a complication does occur, the programme gives a clear course of action.

Anatomy, products and techniques

Anatomy block: risk zones in contour plastics, the anatomy of the facial and neck muscles, innervation and blood supply, the features of wrinkles and the possibilities of correcting them.

Products and techniques:

• criteria for choosing a product and ways to predict correction results;
• methods and techniques of injection — cannula or needle;
• features of working with different zones, and zones of questionable correction;
• correction techniques.

Injection conditions and risks: possible complications, contraindications to injection, the necessary actions when complications occur, and analysis of real clinical cases.

There is no separate practical part on models in the programme of this master class: the 5 hours are devoted to theory, anatomy and clinical cases. The training takes place in Kyiv or on-site in your city, in a group or one-to-one; distance learning via Skype or Zoom is also available.

What you will learn

• Select patients for contour plastics by indications and contraindications, and decline in time when the procedure would not help.
• Conduct the initial consultation and draw up the informed consent properly.
• Find your way around the anatomical risk zones, blood supply and innervation of the face and neck.
• Choose the product, the instrument — cannula or needle — and the technique for a particular zone, and recognise zones of doubtful correction.
• Predict the result of a correction and know what to do if a complication does occur.

Format, duration and price
