During the fractional mesotherapy procedure, the patient receives micro-injections that puncture small areas of skin – micro-zones that need assistance. The punctures are made on small areas of skin no larger than 1 sq. cm. and to a depth of up to 2.5 mm. The depth of the punctures is selected individually, depending on various factors: the task at hand, the size of the area being treated, the desired goal, etc. Typically, the treated areas are spaced apart, and they occupy less than 25% of the skin's surface. On average, the penetration depth is 0.5 - 2 mm (individually selected) and depends on: the thickness of the skin, the thickness of the fat layer, and the size of the problem area. Special nozzles consist of a bundle of needles with a special sharpening, the surface of which is treated with nano-silver, which helps prevent inflammation at the injection sites and rapid wear of the needles. The delicate and high-tech micro-injection technique, as well as the high speed of impact (the "popping" effect), allow for painless injections and reduce side effects such as irritation.

The punctures are made vertically, with bundles of needles – cartridges – with varying numbers of needles, sharpening methods, alloy compositions, and other features.

As a result of the process, the skin becomes sponge-like, intensively absorbing the beneficial substances applied to that area, allowing for the desired result to be achieved in the shortest time with almost no pain sensations.

Principle of operation of Dr.Pen
