WHY DOES THE THYROID GLAND HURT

The thyroid gland can be called the conductor of the entire endocrine system. Just like other endocrine glands (pineal gland, hypothalamus, pituitary gland, pancreas, paired adrenal glands, and gonads), the thyroid gland releases its products directly into the bloodstream. Therefore, it is called an endocrine gland, as opposed to others known as exocrine glands, since they secrete biologically active products of vital activity (enzymes) into the external environment through ducts. These are all digestive glands (liver, pancreas, etc.).

MARVA OGHANYAN: THE THYROID GLAND - THE CONDUCTOR OF THE ENTIRE ENDOCRINE SYSTEM

Endocrine glands play a huge role in metabolism, that is, in ensuring the life and health of the organism. It is precisely due to the products they release into the blood – hormones – that processes of food absorption, energy transformation, growth and development of the organism, accumulation of muscle mass, hematopoiesis, nervous and mental activity, and immunity are ensured.

All endocrine glands of the body are closely interconnected, and when one of them malfunctions – increasing or decreasing the amount of hormone released – the functioning of all other glands is disrupted, as each of them immediately receives information about the work of its "colleagues" through the blood that bathes it. Moreover, the quality and quantity of hormones in the blood immediately reflect on the neuro-psychological and physical status of a person.

It is known that insufficient functioning of one or several endocrine glands leads to severe physical and mental defects, resulting in disability (pituitary dwarfism – dwarfism, cretinism, infertility, Addison's disease).

The thyroid gland in this ensemble of endocrine glands plays the role of a conductor. It regulates the basal metabolism – the oxidation of food, heat production, that is, the transformation of the food we consume into energy or the accumulation of this energy in the form of fat deposits.

Insufficient functioning of the thyroid gland

in childhood leads to insufficient growth and mental development.

In adults, it results in lethargy, drowsiness, excessive accumulation of fat and fluid in the body, lowered body temperature, and mucous edema.

Increased functioning of the thyroid gland leads to excessive secretion of the hormone thyroxine, resulting in the patient being agitated, with increased heart rate, appetite, and body temperature (up to 37.2–37.4°), but as a result of increased and useless energy expenditure, body weight decreases. An external manifestation of the disease in an advanced stage is exophthalmos (protrusion of the eyes).

WHAT CAUSES THESE PAINFUL CONDITIONS, WHY DOES THIS LEADING ENDOCRINE THYROID GLAND, TRULY – THE SHIELD OF OUR ORGANISM, GET SICK MORE OFTEN THAN OTHERS (EXCLUDING DIABETES)?

It is precisely the inflammatory process in the gland's tissue – a very delicate cellular structure with active metabolism – that becomes the cause of numerous nodules and cysts forming within it, leading to an increase in its size and disruption of its functions. A deficiency of iodine, necessary for the synthesis of the hormone thyroxine in food and drinking water, undoubtedly contributes to these disorders.

The reverse process, hyperfunction of the gland – diffuse toxic goiter – is a direct response to the inflammatory process of the periglandular tissues.

The thyroid gland is located in close proximity to the pharyngeal tonsils – clusters of lymphoid tissue that act as a filter for the internal environment and often become inflamed due to the introduction of various pathogenic flora (streptococcal or staphylococcal infection). This is the well-known angina, which can affect us at any age.

However, with the current widespread weakening of immunity, the local immune barrier of the thyroid gland, as well as the pharyngeal tonsils, also becomes defective, and instead of protecting the body from infection, they become a breeding ground for purulent processes, as their lymphatic tissue transforms into purulent due to frequent anginas.

Treatment with antibiotics makes the bacterial flora resistant and contributes to the spread of the inflammatory process to the thyroid gland through the blood vessels, which are very abundantly supplied to it. Inflammation of the thyroid gland occurs – thyroiditis, followed by the formation of cysts, follicles, fibrous nodules, or, much worse, malignant neoplasms.

There are hardly any people who have not suffered from angina at least once or do not suffer from chronic tonsillitis, which means the degeneration of the lymphoid tissue of the tonsils into purulent tissue. It is commonly believed that angina is caused by a cold. But the pus (dead tissue) accumulates in the body not from a cold, not from microbes, but from the food we eat, and only later does it become a nutrient medium for these very microbes, promoting their reproduction and the release of microbial toxins – streptokinase, etc.

By multiplying and activating, they penetrate into the tissue of the thyroid gland, which is also not entirely clean and free from decaying metabolic products. Thus, thyroiditis develops – inflammation of the gland's tissue, followed by all other pathologies, which are carefully diagnosed and treated mainly by removing part of the gland (subtotal resection) or individual nodules.

How appropriate such treatment is to the nature of the disease – judge for yourself. The cause of the disease is not eliminated: the accumulation of pus in the pharyngeal tonsils and the thyroid gland itself is removed, while the consequences are removed. The operation often becomes debilitating, and after it, constant intake of the gland's hormone is required, which leads to disruption of the functioning of other endocrine glands and metabolism in the body.

Acute thyroiditis occurs less frequently – with swelling of the gland, pain in the neck area, and high fever – after the removal of a suppurated tooth, for example. Such a process is treated with large doses of antibiotics and hormones (prednisolone) that suppress inflammation.

Without removing the source of contamination and intoxication, the inflammatory process is suppressed. The results are not hard to guess – these are chronic inflammatory processes of the organs adjacent to the gland: bronchi, lungs, mammary glands, cervical intervertebral cartilages (osteochondrosis).

Often, in chronic thyroiditis, the intake of the gland's hormone – thyroxine – is prescribed, assuming a decrease in its function. As a rule, this leads to increased irritability. Then the neurologist prescribes sedatives.

A person becomes a repository of medications and their own waste, although the only thing they need is a full course of cleansing followed by the restoration of cells and tissues. We cured acute thyroiditis in a 46-year-old woman within four months without a single pill or injection, that is, without medications, only by correcting the disturbed metabolism.

The disease began after the removal of a lower jaw tooth. The endocrinologist prescribed shock doses of antibiotics and corticosteroids (hormones of the adrenal cortex). The patient refused to take medications and turned to a naturopath.

On the very first day, she was prescribed an intestinal wash, drinking infusions of medicinal herbs (mint, lemon balm, plantain, yarrow, chamomile, knotgrass, bearberry, sage) with honey and lemon juice. On such "subthreshold nutrition," excluding any other food, the patient spent seven days (with daily double washing of the large intestine). The following twenty days she took the same infusion and freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices.

Citrus juices, watermelon, tomato, apple, carrot-beet with added cabbage, pumpkin with apple, and juices from leafy vegetables: spinach, sorrel, beet greens, celery, parsnip, coriander, parsley have a wonderful healing effect.

Solid food was excluded, that is, the universal principle of treating all diseases was implemented. It is known that in the absence of digestion and the secretion of digestive enzymes in the body, tissue proteolytic enzymes are activated, which precisely destroy sick, defective cells and tissues. The products of their decay are removed from the body through abundant drinking – blood through the kidneys and washing the intestines through lymphatic vessels, the terminal capillaries of which carry the products of tissue metabolism into the large intestine.

After 30–40 days (depending on the patient's condition and stage of recovery), juicy fruits, dried fruits, pureed vegetable salads, leafy vegetables, nuts, vegetable and butter, bran, raw egg yolks are introduced into the diet for 4–6 weeks.

After a repeated seven-day juice diet, the diet is expanded to include vegetarian soups, vegetable stews, and cereals cooked in water with the addition of oil and vegetables.

After four months, the woman was completely healthy. Three months later, she underwent iridodiagnosis, which found no traces of thyroid disease – this was only possible because natural therapy cleanses the tissues and cells of the body from pathological structural information accumulated over a lifetime.

In the same way, diffuse toxic goiter, nodular goiter, and other pathologies of the thyroid gland are cured.

Fibrous nodules or cysts of the thyroid gland dissolve within 6–10 months from the start of treatment without surgical intervention. At the same time, all other organs are cleansed and restored, accompanying diseases pass: tonsillitis, bronchitis, as well as pyelonephritis, hypertension, heart ailments, inflammatory diseases of the liver, gallbladder, intestines.

With a significant decrease in the function of the gland, the patient's condition improves significantly, and an additional intake of a very small amount of thyroxine is required.

Thus, in a natural way, as indicated by nature, the body heals itself, realizing its self-regulation and self-restoration capabilities. Therefore, only by studying and understanding the laws of nature can we put a stop to the catastrophic rise in morbidity. And this is done through real medical education of people, not by treating patients in hospitals. published on econet.ru
