EIGHT HARMFUL HABITS THAT STEAL OUR YOUTH.
We will not talk about smoking or alcoholism, nor about overeating... Most of our lives are spent in a state of "automatic mode". A state of unthinking, trance, or involuntary hypnosis. Observe yourself throughout the day; it often happens: your gaze is fixed, or too focused, or relaxed... your brain is dozing.
AWAKENING OR SOMNAMBULISM - it is our choice!
Drop by drop, every day, some habits steal our youth. We, and only we, are largely to blame, not ecology or age-related changes.
The first habit - gadget dependence.
We spend a lot of time there. I won't mention the harm to intelligence (during this time, one could learn a foreign language, read a book, listen to beautiful music, communicate with smart people). Poor body: the neck is stretched towards the screen, like a chess knight (observe yourself). Every 2-3 centimeters of head tilt adds 3-4 kg to the weight of the head. The load on the neck muscles is as if we tied a five-liter bottle of water to our head. The body begins to strengthen the neck and back muscles, particularly the seventh cervical vertebra, with coarse connective tissue. This leads to "humps" and "lumps" that compress nerve endings and blood vessels carrying blood to the head. This leads to fluid stagnation, consequently - swelling. We see this as double chins, jowls, forehead wrinkles, bags under the eyes...
The second habit - drinking little water.
I won't even remind you of the benefits of pure water. I will remind you of one thing: drinking warm water is important and necessary at the rate of 30 grams per 1 kg of weight. Hydrated skin, detoxification... you all know. ONE UNDRUNK GLASS OF WATER A DAY IS A SYNDROME OF CHRONIC FATIGUE, AND THE SYNDROME OF CHRONIC FATIGUE IS A SLOW-MOVING CANCER.
The third habit - reading or working while lying down.
Tension in the arms sends waves of muscle contractions to the back, neck, and nape. By tucking in the chin, the entire surface of the neck shortens. Lymphatic and blood vessels are compressed there. Circulation is disrupted. The supply of oxygen to the brain is hindered.
The fourth habit - excessively active facial expressions.
Repeated muscle contractions cause ravines and cracks... And no beauty injections will save you! It is essential to reconsider this harmful habit. Using natural German cosmetics from Dr. Belter, with a special focus on relaxing facial wrinkles, is advisable. Applying high-quality, skin-identical components cream around the eyes is MANDATORY. Neck and décolleté cream should be part of daily care from the age of 20.
The fifth habit - sitting cross-legged.
Blood vessels and the fibular nerve are compressed. This can even contribute to increased blood pressure!!!
The sixth habit - refusing to wear hats and scarves in cold weather.
Hypothermia leads to problems with the facial muscle apparatus. It spasms the lymphatic vessels. Since the head is a nest of chronic inflammatory processes (chronic tonsillitis, periodontitis, otitis, sinusitis...) and a place for beauty injections, to avoid undesirable consequences and complications - KEEP WARM!
The seventh habit - walking.
If you walk like a clumsy bear (and even more so on some unclear construction called a heel) - your health will definitely suffer! The center of gravity shifts, causing pain in the ankles, lower back, shoulders, irritating nerve endings - ALL ORGANS' INNERVATION SUFFERS. The human walk is unique and unrepeatable. Walk with your back straight, shoulders relaxed, chin up, stomach in, and feet slightly apart. In a comfortable position, the chest is open, and breathing is free and even. There is no need to sway your shoulders or wiggle your hips. It is important that the heel (or toe) touches the ground first. A comfortable and most beautiful walk is considered to be with slightly spread toes. Walk confidently and beautifully - with a medium step, neither shuffling nor striding. Do joint gymnastics in the morning. Wear quality shoes. Order orthopedic insoles if you spend most of the day on your feet.
The eighth habit - lack of sleep.
A gross violation of biorhythms for years... You need to go to bed before 11:00 PM. At this time, the adrenal glands are recovering. The pineal gland starts producing the hormone of youth and longevity - MELATONIN. If we stay awake during this time, drowsiness will catch up with us during the day (the body will still try to produce it during the day...) The gallbladder (from 11:00 PM), smoothly transitioning into the liver's work (1:00 AM - 3:00 AM).
Sleep is connected to the adjustment of our hormonal system, with the ability to shed excess weight, with prolonging the youth of the body or accelerating its aging.
I will talk about shocking data from a study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine: it turns out that almost all modern people make a fatal mistake in their bedrooms that essentially kills their metabolism!
And due to this mistake, not only is the body's ability to get rid of excess fat blocked, but also the hormonal system is disrupted, hunger increases, aging processes accelerate, we lose more energy and clarity of thought. And even worse, due to this mistake, tests of a completely "healthy" person can show that their insulin resistance level is like that of anyone with type 2 diabetes! WARNING: Do not deceive yourself by thinking that you can go to bed later and that sleep is less important than urgent matters. If you have to choose between exercising ("for health and figure maintenance") and sleep - the priority, without a doubt, belongs to sleep.
Lack of sleep provokes powerful hunger and increases cravings for the most harmful foods.
Firstly, inadequate sleep provokes a decrease in the level of the hormone leptin by about 15% (this hormone signals us about the onset of satiety).
Secondly, at the same time, the level of the hormone that signals us the feeling of hunger rises by the same 15%.
In total, this leads to losing control over our appetite; we wake up already hungry and only calm down after getting a portion of the most harmful foods.
Therefore, when you sleep insufficiently, the level of leptin drops, and along with it, the level of thyroid hormones, which, in turn, leads to extreme slowing of metabolism (that is, including the rate of calorie burning at rest).
And what is the result? As a result, an even greater percentage of what is eaten is deposited in the fat layer on the abdomen and thighs instead of being converted into energy that would sustain us throughout the day. Further - worse: almost no one knows that "fat-burning" processes mainly occur while we sleep! During sleep, leptin activates special fat cells whose function is to burn fat; as a result, it is precisely at night that excess calories are burned, and the energy obtained is simply transformed and emitted as heat. Therefore, when we get insufficient sleep (or sleep in the wrong mode), we miss the very time when fat can be optimally burned, and the waist can acquire graceful contours. Lack of sleep also suppresses cell sensitivity to insulin. If you have reduced insulin sensitivity, you need MORE insulin to remove excess sugars from the blood. And a large amount of insulin in the blood, in turn, provokes a doubling of the risk of gaining fat mass, as the increased amount of insulin essentially sends a command to the liver to convert the food received into fat, locking excesses in fat cells so that they do not re-enter the blood to avoid burning.
The body perceives lack of sleep as a stress factor, as a threat to its existence, so the body's reaction is an increase in the level of the stress hormone - CORTISOL, which is directly linked to fat deposition in the abdominal and thigh areas.
Lack of sleep also damages brain tissue, cognitive abilities, and negatively affects mood.
Dr. Maiken Nedergaard, a neurosurgeon and professor at the University of Rochester, published her research demonstrating that when we sleep, the brain gets rid of strong neurotoxins that are natural byproducts of our daily activities.
If we allow these byproducts to accumulate and do not get rid of them, the consequences can be quite sad - for example, clouded consciousness, memory damage, mood swings, and focus problems.
Lack of sleep ages a person very quickly, as it deprives them of that very "window", the interval of time when our "youth hormones" work during the night.
We are talking about the growth hormone - our master of renewal and restoration, a hormone that acts almost exclusively at night, helping us recover and maintain our youth. Besides skin aging (dryness, wrinkles, weak tone), lack of growth hormone also critically affects tissue composition - there is a shift in favor of fat tissues against muscle.
HERE IS THE FORMULA FOR GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP AND ACCELERATING METABOLISM.
Step 1: Every week, go to bed 15 minutes earlier until you start getting a stable 7-9 hours of sleep.
Step 2: The bedroom should be truly dark - it is under such conditions that hormonal work will be at its best. If it is not possible to darken the room well, use a mask - and, if desired, earplugs.
Step 3: Before bed, try to slow down, calm the nervous system - no television, internet, or sports.
Step 4: Eat no later than three hours before sleep. If the interval is shorter, fat-burning effects diminish.
WARNING: This formula will not accelerate metabolism and will not work for rejuvenation if you continue to eat harmful products!
